Andrew Dale

Andrew coordinates training and logistics for field crews in the Central District Young Adult Program. He joined the Corps as a crew member in 2011 and quickly realized he wanted to serve another term as a crew leader in 2012. Then, after a couple years with another Twin Cities nonprofit, he returned to the Corps in his current role in May of 2015. Andrew has extensive experience in chainsaw/tree felling operations, prescribed fire, rain garden installation, and small engine maintenance/repair. He holds a BA in English and German from Hamline University and has been a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture since 2014.

Outside of the Corps, Andrew practices historical European martial arts (German longsword and Italian rapier!) and enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring the backcountry of Minnesota’s Arrowhead region. In the fall of 2018 he completed a thru-hike of the Superior Hiking Trail.
