What is your favorite memory/experience serving with the Corps?
My crew and I had been working on a project in the prairie for weeks and it was starting to feel very monotonous, however on our walk out to the site we almost stepped on a Short-eared Owl! As the day progressed we also saw a North American Racer and a Northern Harrier up close and personal. It ended up being a great day that I still haven’t forgotten. I also loved rx burning on the bluffs.
What are your favorite outdoor activities?
Hiking, searching for wildflowers, running, downhill and xc skiing, gardening, camping
