Overview
Maajii-akii-gikenjigewin Field Crew prioritizes personal and professional growth while developing conservation skills, receiving hands-on training, and engaging with the Fond du Lac community. Corpsmembers (ages 18+) complete conservation projects with Fond du Lac Resource Management.
Projects include removing invasive species, sustainable agriculture/land management, tree planting, prescribed burning, wildlife monitoring/surveys, and more!
Training/certifications include CPR/First Aid, chainsaw use/safety, plant ID, wildland fire, and more.
Benefits include a $2,450-$2,600/month living stipend, an education award upon completion of AmeriCorps term, time off for ceremony, childcare assistance, and others.
