Natural Resources Project Design Technician/Specialist – Chisago County Soil and Water Conservation District
This position will assist five county-level soil and water conservation districts (SWCDs) in the Lower St. Croix watershed in east central Minnesota, and other partners with natural resources project engineering. Project types may include but not be limited to shoreline stabilization, gully stabilization, stormwater ponds or infiltration basins, native plantings, pollinator habitat, street sweeping planning, and many others. You will be involved in guiding landowners, planning projects, surveying, design, construction oversight, and maintenance. This is a professional position requiring a diverse background in pre-planning, problem evaluation, problem solving, and design and installation of structural and biological conservation activities. With that said, the position is also supported by experts from multiple agencies in a manner that will allow substantial professional growth.
