Corps members installed a new roof on a CCC-era cabin in the BWCA
In mid-September, field specialists and members from the Tofte and Moose Lake crews repaired a cabin in the BWCA, originally built by the CCC during the Depression. Currently used as by law enforcement cabin for the MN-DNR, the cabin on Little Sag Lake was in great need of maintenance. The crew installed a metal roof, built shelves and a wood box, jacked up a corner of the cabin and stained logs on the exterior, while having a good time. See more photos on Facebook.
