Volunteers and YO crews plant rain garden at Como Pool
Visitors to the Como Pool in Saint Paul will be greeting by sedge-filled rain gardens at the pool’s entrance and a beautifully landscaped pool area, thanks in part to volunteers and Youth Outdoors crew members. On May 16, in partnership with Saint Paul Parks and Rec, volunteers and two YO crews planted 400 sedges in the large rain gardens and dozens of shrubs and flowers inside the pool area. This project was made possible with the generous support of the Saint Paul Garden Club.
