October 2-7, 21st Century Fox employees around the country were volunteering in their communities. Right here in Minneapolis, Fox 9 employees volunteered with Conservation Corps to clean up the Mississippi River and build a rain garden at their studio.
Volunteers cleared over 500 lbs of trash from around the Mississippi River in Northeast Minneapolis and designed, prepped, planted and mulched a rain garden at their studio. Check out this Fox 9 footage with our Program Director, Hollis Emery, to learn more about the importance of rain gardens.
