Zac Bair

As the Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator, Zac assists with the role of finding Conservation Corps candidates to serve in the organizations various positions. Zac is also a Veteran Corps alumni.

Zac grew up in tundra that is Moorhead, Minnesota. He joined the Army after graduating high school where he was assigned to 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed to Afghanistan three times. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish, a minor in Leadership, and a graduate degree in Secondary Science Education. Zac taught high school science for the Minnesota Association of Alternative Programing for seven years prior to coming to serve with Conservation Corps.

On the weekends you might find Zac running on a trail, backpacking, or playing a board game with some friends. Zac enjoys music, movies, museums, mini-golf, ski-ball, audiobooks, language, art, history, video games, house plants, cooking, and of course, a well timed joke.
