Isabelle Bruder

Isabelle started her conservation journey with AmeriCorps while taking time off school in 2020 during COVID. After serving as a crew member in Texas until 2021, she resumed school and worked as a biology intern for Grinnell College at the Conard Environmental Research Area. That summer, she joined The Nature Conservancy as an Anna Beal Intern and worked on various conservation projects throughout Iowa. After graduating Grinnell College in 2023 with a biology degree, she continued to work for The Nature Conservancy in South Dakota as an assistant preserve manager and in Delaware as a prescribed fire crew member. Isabelle now works as a Field Coordinator based in Des Moines and supports field crews in Iowa. In her free time, Isabelle loves to spend time outdoors, thrift, and work on her endless list of art projects.
