Brooklynn Aamodt

Brooklynn is a born and raised Iowan. She received her bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Iowa. After graduation, she served two AmeriCorps terms in Iowa City with the nonprofit Bur Oak Land Trust as a conservation crew member and then as a conservation crew leader. After finishing her AmeriCorps service, she worked for the environmental nonprofit TreeFolks in Austin, Texas. After some time back in the Midwest, she now serves as the Iowa Program and Outreach Coordinator. In this role she assists the Iowa Program in identifying and maintaining community partnerships, recruitment for the Iowa Field Crew, and supporting the member and alumni experience. In her free time, Brooklynn loves reading, hiking, thrifting, going to live shows, and exploring the Des Moines metro and the hidden gems it has to offer.
