This Privacy Policy governs the privacy practices for Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, accessible from www.conservationcorps.org, (our “organization,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy applies to information provided to us through your user account or collected by us or our Third-Party Providers (defined below) through our website (our “Site”), including information you provide in acquiring our services (“Services”) or donating to our organization (“Donations”) (collectively our “Information Purposes”).

At Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, accessible from www.conservationcorps.org, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa and how we use it.

We primarily have access to and/or collect information that you voluntarily provide us, including the information you provide in setting up your user account and any information or materials you provide for the Services you acquire, Donations you make through our Site, or other direct contact from you. We do not require you to set up a user account to use our Site. However, an account is necessary to acquire certain non-public information about our Services. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” will include all personally identifiable information that is specific to you which meets the definition of applicable data protection laws as “personal information,” “personal data,” or “personally identifiable information” (e.g. name, address, phone number, email address, etc.). Except as specifically noted herein, we do not provide any Personal Information to any unaffiliated third party (i.e., not under contract with us).

Please note that not all of this information is required to be a qualified and registered user of our Services.
    • Authentication Information: We have you specify a username and a password for your account.
    • Other Information You Provide: Any other information you submit when you contact us through or use the Services, including any information you provide in a submission through our Contact Us form. This information is kept on record for customer service and technical support purposes, including via email exchanges made with us.
    • Payment Information: We also collect certain financial information related to any Donations, including name, billing address, debit card, or credit card number.
  • Usage Information: We, or our Third Party Providers on our behalf, may collect information about you through your use of our Site and Services with software application tools and data files, such as cookies, web log files, IP addresses, device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, and information relating to your login of your user account (“Usage Information”). You may be required to permit such Usage Information to log in to your user account or use our Services. Our use of Usage Information does not allow us to gather Personal Information from your device.

Third-Party Policies

We may allow you to link to third-party websites or display third-party ads on our Site. Your access to such third-party websites and/or ads (by clicking on the link or ad in our Site) may result in such third party receiving or collecting information about your systems through cookies, bots, Web Beacons, etc. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party websites or ads. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. § 6501.06 and 16 C.F.R. §§ 312.1 – 312.12, we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, nor do our Services target children under the age of 13. By using our Site and Services and any user account, you represent that you are not younger than 13. Please contact us if you believe that our Site contains any information from a child under the age of 13.

Specific Laws

Notice to California Residents

Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents who have an established business relationship with us are entitled to ask us once a year for information regarding the personal data we have shared, if any, with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. The request must include your name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code and an attestation that you are a California resident.
