Staff and board changes

After 11 years on the Conservation Corps staff, Lisa Cassioppi is off to new adventures – leading canoe trips with Wilderness Inquiry and conducting Gypsy Moth surveys with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, working in many of the areas her crews helped restore. We thank Lisa for her exceptional service and wish her well.
 
Taking Lisa’s place as Northeast District Manager is Chris Severson, previously the district manager in Iowa. Welcome, Chris, to Minnesota!

Mark Wilson has stepped into the Iowa manager position, having worked alongside Chris as the assistant manager since January 2013.

In board news, we recently welcomed Rita Garcia, CEO of Business Partners Plus, Inc., to the Corps Board of Directors.
