Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa announces three new board members

February 3, 2020 – Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa is proud to announce the election of three new members to its board of Directors. The new board members are Erin Anderson, Robert W. Craggs, and Janet M. Newberg.

“We are grateful for the expertise that our newest board members bring to their roles,” said Executive Director Mark Murphy. “The invaluable support of these members will help us to advance our impact to create a world where everyone has equitable access to nature, is equipped to succeed in careers and life, and is empowered to make a difference in conserving natural resources.”

Erin Anderson is the Director of Charter School Authorizing at the Audubon Center of the North Woods in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has been with the organization since 2012. Erin holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Museum Education from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Erin grew up on a farm and ranch in South Dakota, where her land ethic was born and continues to propel her volunteer and professional work today. https://www.conservationcorps.org/erin-anderson

Robert W. Craggs currently serves as a Market Sector Leader and Environmental Consultant with Burns & McDonnell in Minneapolis, MN. He has worked in the environmental consulting field for nearly 30 years serving public and private clients throughout North America in the areas of waste management, recycling, water resources, and renewable energy. Robert earned a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning and a J.D. of Law from the University of Iowa. https://www.conservationcorps.org/robert-w-craggs

Janet M. Newberg is the former Chief Financial Officer of Reliable Property Services LLC in St. Paul, MN. She retired after 20 years of service and was part of the ownership group until 2015. The company provides commercial property exterior maintenance services in the Midwest five state area.
