District Inspector – MDA
The seed regulatory program is hiring two district inspectors! You will be responsible for managing a territory for seed inspections. In addition, your other duties will include hemp compliance inspections, export inspections for issuing phytosanitary certificates of commodities, and survey for invasive species, including insect pests, plant pathogens, and noxious weed species. This position will also allow you to be a member of a collaborative team and contribute to. excellence in multiple programs, where you will have a direct and positive impact on agriculture and the environment.
Both of these positions are permanent and are remote. You will work out of your home office and will be in the field 75-90% of the time. They will hire the individual at a PHS1 or PHS2 level depending on experience and qualifications.
