Entry-Level DNR Forester

The Minnesota DNR is hiring 7 entry-level foresters.  The “NR For Technician” classification is a forestry technician job that requires a minimum education of a two-year degree in natural resources with an emphasis in forestry. The “NR For Specialist” classification is a professional forester job which requires a 4 year degree from an SAF-accredited forestry program or SAF Certified Forester status.  Both jobs pay about the same and have similar job responsibilities (lots of field work and wildfire suppression).
