Forest Restoration at Pig’s Eye Regional Park

Join volunteers and Mississippi Park Connection staff at Pig’s Eye Regional Park on August 28 as we prepare for this year’s National Public Lands Day event! We will be clearing out a planting site by removing buckthorn and other woody species so that we can replace them with new trees suited to Minnesota’s changing climate. This is a great opportunity for new volunteers, or those who have been volunteers for a while and want to get together with the community. All ages and experience levels are welcome!
