Lead Aquatic Invasive Species Educator and Watercraft Inspector – Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, MN

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is seeking educators to work in our Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) education and watercraft inspection program. Educators will primarily work at Lake Harriet, Lake Nokomis, and Bde Maka Ska. Assigned shifts and work locations will vary based on department needs. In addition to fulfilling all the job duties and tasks required of the non-lead AIS Educator and Watercraft Inspector position, Lead Inspectors/Educators will assist in leading day-to-day operational activities and field questions from other inspection/education staff. This may include assigning tasks to non-lead employees and serving as the on-site staff point of contact. Experience as a Watercraft Inspector is preferred though not required for this position.

Salary: $20.00 – $21.00 Hourly
