Long Term Volunteer – Friends of San Lucas
Long-Term Volunteers (LTVs) are full-time volunteer positions, based in the community of San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala. Successful candidates serve as liaisons between visiting groups and community members by providing Spanish interpretation and accompanying visiting groups to service and education sites. There are typically 5-8 participants that make up the LTV team, and they report to Visitor Program staff based in San Lucas. The minimum commitment for this position is three months and there is no cost to participate. Meals, shared accommodation, and transportation to San Lucas is provided. With flexible start dates, successful candidates just need to get themselves to Guatemala City.
