Minnesota State Fair

We will be back at the Great Minnesota Get-Together this year! If you are visiting the Minnesota State Fair this year, be sure to swing by our booth on the south side of the DNR building to say hi!
Are you interested in volunteering?
Volunteer at the Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa booth for a 3-hour shift at the Minnesota State Fair, August 21-September 1, 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of the Corps and get to know current members, staff, and alum!
PERKS! A free state fair entry ticket and CCMI t-shirt will be provided to all volunteers. PLUS, the CCMI booth overlooks the fishpond at the DNR building, and live music can often be heard from the nearby DNR stage.
Volunteer Role & Expectations
- Volunteers will work with at least one other person.
- Responsibilities include talking to fairgoers about CCMI, handing out info and prizes, and assisting with a game.
- Please plan to arrive 10-15 mins before your scheduled shift.
- Account for extra travel time to and from the fair!
- Enjoy yourself and make new CCMI friends!
Volunteer shifts are three hours long and available between 9 am – 9 pm.
If you sign up for a shift, please also be sure to sign up for one of these volunteer info sessions so you are properly equipped to run the booth!
