A warm farewell to Valerie Hsu

In two short years, Outreach Coordinator Valerie Hsu implemented our own volunteer network and invigorated alumni connections through events and a savvy social media presence. She initiated five alumni meet-up events, countless volunteer projects, a well-received blog from corps members in the field, photo contests and an annual thank-you event for our volunteers and donors. She also coordinated a major CCC 80th Birthday celebration featuring live music, a silent auction and the support of more than 50 volunteers. Valerie has accepted a great opportunity as communications specialist with Saint Paul Public Schools. We will miss her and wish her well!
