Before and after: Riverwalk and George Wright Park Improvements

A Fergus Falls crew has been working with the city since 2014 to make trail improvements along the Riverwalk and at George Wright Park. Crew members have stabilized river banks, removed buckthorn and tree undergrowth, and planted native grasses to reduce water run-off and erosion along the hillside. “Dan and the rest of the guys were a pleasure to work with and very hard workers,” said Steve Plaza, Fergus Falls parks, recreation and forestry manager.
