Leila Keita

Leila Keita is a Gift Officer for Minnesota Opera, where she focuses on planning fundraising events and working closely with donors whose gifts support the mission and vision to Sing Every Story across Minnesota Opera’s stages. Before working at the opera, Leila worked in admissions and alumni relations at Carleton and St. Olaf College, recruiting and counseling prospective students and creating community and affinity within the alumni base. She is passionate about people, community, and creating access, especially for people of color, in spaces where they are underrepresented. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Twin Cities, cooking, and watching movies at the theater.
