Jody Karr

Jody Karr joined the CCMI team in August of 2023. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector specializing in youth development and conservation programs, managing AmeriCorps programs for nine of those years with the Southwest Conservation Corps in Colorado, and American YouthWorks in Texas and Louisiana. From place-based science education to conservation and disaster services, she has guided program development and implementation creating transformational learning environments for youth and young adults. Jody has successfully secured municipal, state, federal and private grant resources to help organizations build capacity, managing both pre-award research and writing, and post-award project administration and compliance. When not huddled over a laptop, you can find Jody in the garden with her hands in the soil, paddling on the river, or on a yoga mat.
