Karter Wilbert

Karter is the Youth and Family Liaison. He works with youth ages 15 to 18 in different CCMI programs like the Summer Youth Corps. Some of his responsibilities include facilitating communication between families and youth participants in the SYC program, organizing information sessions for interested groups, and assisting with youth program recruitment. They began working in the nonprofit sector immediately after college, where they earned a B.A. in Spanish and Anthropology with minors in TESOL and Linguistics. He was born and raised in Mississippi where he often spent summers at the coast. In his spare time, he enjoys watching tv, making music, and writing poetry. On the weekends, he can be found at the park walking his dogs, playing volleyball, or skateboarding.
