Seasonal Individual Placement Member
Individual Placement positions (ages 18-25) are based at various locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Under the direct guidance of a project supervisor at a partner agency, the Corpsmember will assist with a variety of projects to expand the capacity and reach of the partner agency. Projects may focus on water quality, invasive species management, outdoor recreation, land use planning, communications, and/or volunteer outreach
Clean Water Corpsmembers
Serve alongside a natural resource professional in a Minnesota Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) , learning hands-on skills in managing soil and water resources. Projects may include assisting with groundwater monitoring programs, wetland and watercourse inventories and assessments, field surveys and educational programs.
Recreation Technician AmeriCorps Member
The AmeriCorps Recreation Technician Corpsmembers (ages 18-35) serve alongside natural resource professionals with the U.S. Forest Service at the Chippewa National Forest doing hands-on visitor and outreach services placed in Walker, MN.
