In June, Corps EcoRanger youth crews sampled macroinvertebrates in the new Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary. After photographing what they found, they uploaded the images to the Project Noah global map. Their citizen scientist experience was made possible through a science nature photography program called AweSnap!, which was developed by Saint Paul Natural Resources with the support of REI. AweSnap! encourages people to photograph plants and wildlife and share them online, for mutual interest and scientific research. Check out this photo album posted by SPNR.
