State Fair crowds visit Corps booth
During a record-breaking run of the Minnesota State Fair, hundreds of fairgoers stopped by our booth across from the DNR fishpond to hear about our work, connect with alumni and learn about invasive species. More than 40 volunteers staffed the booth for the full 12 days, including alumni, current corps members, board and staff members, family and friends. Visitors played our invasive species bean bag toss game and won Conservation Corps bobbers and bookmarks embedded with wildflower seeds. Thanks to all who volunteered and came to visit.
