Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa announces four new board members

January 15, 2020 – Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa is proud to announce that four new board members have joined its Board of Directors. Their announcements with bios are shown below.

Vern Fish, former executive director of Black Hawk County Conservation Board, has joined Conservation Corps MN & IA’s board of directors. Passionate preserving clean water in Iowa, Vern serves as a community leader with several conservation organizations. He enjoys paddling wild rivers from the Mexican border to the Arctic Circle. https://www.conservationcorps.org/vern-fish.

Jan Gerstenberger, director of partnerships and development for the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota, brings significant development and communications expertise to her role as a new board member of Conservation Corps MN & IA. Stephanie Stein, business initiatives consultant with Wells Fargo, has joined Conservation Corps MN & IA’s board of directors. Stephanie brings over 17 years of experience integrating sustainability and corporate responsibility into operations. Katie Tedson, human resources manager of Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota, has joined Conservation Corps MN & IA’s board of directors. Katie is an AmeriCorps VISTA alum and advocate for national service. She is passionate about helping organizations improve human resources practices.
