Celia Demers

As Youth Outdoors (YO) Program Manager, Celia Demers will lead and support the YO program team, youth and AmeriCorps service members. Celia began her conservation journey back in 2005 with the Western Colorado Conservation Corps as an AmeriCorps service member.

Over the years Celia has worked for Acadia National Park, American Conservation Experience, Amargosa Conservancy, Appalachian Mountain Club, Student Conservation Association, and Southeast Conservation Corps in a variety of roles to support and lead programs within natural resources throughout the US including the areas of administration, trail construction, recruitment, leadership, supervision, mentorship, and professional development.

Outside of work, Celia spends time cycling, reading, photography, and hiking. While exploring and learning all the regional and local gems of urban and rural America that has to offer.
