Interim crews work through winter

Corps members complete SC disaster deployment

Last Saturday, four corps members returned from a disaster deployment in South Carolina. They worked with FEMA to coordinate volunteer efforts in the wake of torrential storms, which dumped up to two feet of rain in some areas. Read More

With 101 submissions from 25 photographers, we all got a glimpse of the awesome work our crews do every day. Crews work at Wood Lake Nature Center

Conservation Corps crews spent a month working at Wood Lake Nature Center this fall to help improve water quality and restore prairie. Three Central District crews removed invasive buckthorn and hazard trees, and planted 75 trees and shrubs.  Read More
